Original anatomical heart linocut print limited edition in red, white and blue ink on Hosho Japanese handmade paper. This is a hand pulled print made with traditional printmaking techniques. It is a reduction linocut and individual work of art made with a singular one off hand carved block. Inspired by love and the human heart, I wanted to reflect the emotion of ‘wearing your heart on your sleeve’. The use of red reflects the positive feelings of love and blue the negative. I produced this from one block by carving away each layer at a time. As the block is completely carved away it is a limited edition and no more can be produced. The print is hand signed and comes with a free picture mount and a card back tucked into a protective sleeve. • Paper size 28.5 x 35.5cm (11.2 x 14 inches) The image is unframed and includes a white border around the printed area for the mount.
