“Lake District” landscape wall art and original linocut print hand printed onto Hosho paper in black and white. This handmade piece is inspired by The Lake District National park in the U.K. After visiting a walking route near Ullswater I was inspired by the surrounding hills, forests and streams. The lakes flow through a beautiful natural landscape and shape the local environment. The picture is produced using a traditional printmaking process and not a digital reproduction. The design is carved from a singular lino block and hand pressed. The finished piece is packed with a card back and protective sleeve. Each is hand signed by myself and is part of an open edition. The print is unframed and includes a white border around the printed area. The paper size is 23 x 20cm (9 x 7.9 inches). Please note each piece is handcrafted and therefore have slight variations.
